The FIBER ALAMO diode laser is the latest fiber-optic laser generating a wavelength of 810 nm to effectively remove unwanted hair and correct certain skin conditions. The principle of operation is based on selective photothermolysis, when the laser energy is partially absorbed by melanin, partially by water and hemoglobin in the hair follicles, causing their destruction, and then stop hair growth.

Vertical installation is equipped with a narrow cooling channel, but a high level of heat flow with low heat capacity, which can cause heat damage.
